because YOUR life sucks...

on st. patricks day i came one step closer to completing all of my life goals; i saw vanilla ice live in concert. hells yeah.

tim, anna, collin and i went down to the curtain club in deep ellum at about 10:00 or so. there were three opening acts. nothing too exciting except for the first act: it was a white rapper, but that's not the cool part (obviously). there was this badass black guy that just stood behind him the entire time he was rapping and never said a word. pimp.

ice's performace was, of course, sweetness. just before the curtains were about to open for him to come on stage the entire crowd started chanting "ninja, ninja rap! ninja, ninja rap! go ninja go ninja go!" twas awesome. at the end of his first song (one of his new rap songs) he incorporated the "go ninja go" stuff and had the crowd sing along. also awesome. at one point in the performance he introduced his dj who apparently also graduated from r. l. turner, and then gave a shout out to turner. we screamed as loud as we could. it was fucking hardcore. he eventually got to 'ice ice baby' but in a much heavier, more intense style. everyone in the crowd new all the words and sang along at the top of their lungs. a bunch of girls got up on stage and danced to the song, including anna (mad props). twas awesome as well. after the song ended (at which point anna came down off of the stage) vanilla ice tried for about 20 minutes to get the girls on stage to flash the audience. it was damn funny because it was vanilla ice (which is inherently funny) rapping (and having the audience rap along with him) the phrase "show us some titties" over and over again. brilliance. he didn't really have any luck except for the good looking lesbian couple that had been dirty dancing and making out with each other up on the stage for quite a while. one flashed and the other licked. hot. other highlights of the evening include the 4 or 5 drunken fights that broke out in the crowd and the drug deal we got to see go down in the parking lot where we had parked. oh, and the many bums asking for money. they're always fun, especially when they sing or something for you.

...yeah... i saw vanilla ice live in concert. it makes me happy.

other than that, not much is going on. went bowling with stevo, callie and tim tonight. twas fun, even though i had no idea what i was doing. still managed to hold my own fairly well.

computer games have lost most of their fun (though i'm sure they'll be fun again soon, when i'm out of whatever funk i'm in at the moment). but... that leaves me very bored when i'm not actually hanging out with people. not fun.

school is school. that's about it. classes are ok. just same old, same old.

yeah, it guess that's all folks.

(trent reznor rocks my socks)
(had to get it in there somewhere, wouldn't wanna break the trend)
