i just thought this was blog-worthy:
so i picked up my paycheck today (i didn't have time to do it yesterday on payday) and i looked at it. nothing really struck me as odd so i just put it in my pocket and began working (i grabbed right before my shift for the evening began). after work i examined it more closely and realized that i had been given a 75 cent raise. the odd thing about it was that i hadn't been told by anyone about it--it just kind of happened.
a pleasant little suprise.
on that note: work is some kind of crazy evil scheme. they continually do things that make me hate the job, but then they do random little things that make me think that it's really not so bad after all. it's evil i say, EVIL. i can never fully decide whether i hate the job and want to quit or if it's turning out pretty well and really isn't that bad at all. bastards, all of 'em. yes, i'm talking to you corporate america. oh well, for now i stick with the job, we'll see how things will work out as school kicks into full swing.
on that note: i still can't wait to move into my new apartment with ross and i still can't wait to start classes.
on that note: i'm done expounding on things mentioned in the previous note.
the end.
for now.
wait, no...
for ever.
no, just for now.
